Facts come from two places only: the venue itself, or our own visit.
Where the facts come from
Prices, opening times, home-ed sessions and access details come from the venue's own website, or from asking the venue by email or phone. Council information comes from the council's own published pages. We never copy other days-out sites or review sites, and everything is written in our own words.
What the stamps mean

- Not yet visited: the details come from the venue; the page says whether from its website, an email or a phone call.
- Gifted visit: the venue gave us free entry. We still say what we really thought.
- May be out of date: we last checked more than a year ago.
- Not known yet: we haven't been able to check this, so we don't guess.
Gentle visits
A gentle visit has no taxidermy and no human remains, no strongly dark themes, nothing dark or loud, no constant hand dryers or announcements and no strong smells. We only give the tag once we know all of those.
